Creating Custom Data templates
to store data
There are over 20 predefined Apps in this version of the Data Tracking Apps software but many users have asked us for an option to
store data according to their custom needs. Therefore, we provide 10 Custom templates
for users to enter the data field names that they want to track.
To create a Custom template, click on any of the Custom 1 through Custom 10 options
on the left tree menu. A template form should open where a user can specify the
names of the data fields to store. Upto 13 names can be specified, the first 3 are
key fields and are required. An example of field names will be shown
next to the field prompts for user reference. No special characters are allowed in the field
names.
Once the template is saved, click on the "Add New Record" button to start adding
data into your custom data template. All features of the software are now available for your custom App. Saving any data on a custom app requires it to be unlocked
for a few dollars purchase from this website.
Note:- Once a template is created for a custom app, the template cannot be updated
since a data-template mismatch will corrupt the data.
